If you’ve found your way here then my guess is that you’re feeling pretty overwhelmed right now.

Perhaps you’re tired of rushing around at 100mph and you’re craving a slower more enjoyable way of life. Or maybe you’re fed up with trying to live life the way you think you should, trying to live up to expectations, always taking on more and never wanting to let anyone down.

You can’t seem to shake the nagging feeling that there must be more life than going through the motions, running around after everyone else but never spending any time taking care of your own needs or doing the things you truly love.

I hear you, convincing yourself “life will feel easier when…” and promising yourself that if you can just get through this busy spell or deal with this difficult situation, things will feel better and you can finally get some time to yourself.

But that time never seems to come does it? There’s always something to think about, something you should be doing and so find yourself struggling through each day, feeling like you’re on a treadmill that just won’t stop.

You’re exhausted but sleep isn’t coming easily to you right now. You lie awake at night, your mind racing and when you finally do drift off, you wake the next day feeling groggy and just as tired as ever.

You’re noticing other symptoms too. Your shoulders are so tight they’re practically up by your ears, you have a headache you just can’t seem to shift or you have a feeling, like a dead weight in the pit of your stomach. Your menstrual cycle has gone haywire or perhaps disappeared completely and your mood is like a yo-yo, up one minute, ready to snap the next. You’ve even found yourself literally crying over spilt milk (or odd socks, or losing your keys).

Perhaps above everything else, you know deep down that life is just too short to feel this way. You want to start enjoying your life instead of feeling stressed out by it.
